Hello everyone. Duane here,London,Ontario.Just getting ready for winter , so I picked up a 66 Acadian Invader,2 door post. 21,000 original miles,194 six, powerglide, radio delete.First owner ,little ole Lady(true).I knew of the car for 16 years, but the previous owner,(last friday),wouldn't sell it.Body wise, it's pretty decent, the floors are a lil rusty, but it came with complete new floor pans. The interior is junk, but it won't much more than buckets. My plans are a street legal gasser.I'm looking at different kits and some axles and trying to decide which way to go.O ya,I got a lot of parts with it that I won't be using.i should list them in the classifieds. This isn't my first deuce, but it will be my first gasser. Powered by a 406 sbc ,single carb tunnel ram and a Jerricho grinder(5 speed).12 bolt in the back, because I'm wanting it all chevy/gm.I've got a lot of good ideas off this site as I've been lurking for a while.Any ideas /input, will be greatly appreciated.Gotta go and get the six fired up,so I can pull it out and put it for sale and start tearing into this ole girl, woo hoo.
Yea, get ready for winter. London is in a snow corridor. It can be sunny and clear in St Thomas then drive through a snow storm in London and watch the sun come back out in Woodstock. Anyway, sounds like a great find. Good luck with your car and enjoy the site.
